GalaxyNews is now mmofacts
Dec. 8, 2011, 12:21 a.m.
We have lift-off. Our brand-new online games magazine mmofacts is replacing GalaxyNews, that has been on the market since 2002. All the experience gained in those 9 years contributed big time to the development of mmofacts. The result is a modern website that is miles ahead of its predecessor.
"mmo" is for massively multiplayer online. We won't restrict ourself to browser-based MMOs anymore. Because the download and especially the mobile MMO sector has seen such a huge growth recently we will be extending our focus to these new markets. "facts" because we provide one of the biggest databases for massively multiplayer online games in the world. You can browse trough more than 3,000 titles and their corresponding publishers and portals with ease. To ensure the quality of the data we have introduced a wikipedia-lile system of community-based moderation.
We were aiming for a design that would clear the mess that had evolved with the old website over the years. Looking at the feedback we've got so far we are aware that with this bold move we haven't met everybody's taste. That's why we are working hard on implementing legitimate feature requests and making your experience as good as it used to be. So if there's something you are unhappy with don't hesitate to contact us. We really appreciate your opinion.
