Share & Suscribe: Our latest updates

posted 17 years, 6 months ago by docjay

As you might have noticed, our latest updates allow you to share our articles and news through social bookmarking sites such as digg.com, del.icio.us or facebook share. Another possibility is to subscribe to our feeds, which can now easily be done through any of our news or articles.

To extend this service we'd love to know, which social bookmarking service you prefer, so that we can make it easier for you by adding these services to our share bar.

I must admit that I got to know the advantages of social bookmarks not until a few months ago. Currently I'm using del.icio.us to manage my bookmarks but I'm wondering wether I should switch to Google Bookmarks as I'm using a lot of their services anyway. This way I would have everything in one place.

I'm missing the option "none" as I don't use any bookmark webiste. I have my bookmarks in my mind or in my firefox

WOW... I don't think I'd be able to keep them all in my mind...I fairly use social bookmarks though, as I found a great Firefox plug-in allowing you to safe your FF bookmarks on a server and use them wherever you are.

But I think social bookmarks are a good way to share some cool sites with friends, what I do using Digg.com.

I am using deli.cio.us both for bookmarking, linksharing and publishing (to my personal site). I have however never used a link on a site to do that. I am not sure how much sense it makes - as users of those services are bound to have their own workflows that can not rely on those buttons being present. But maybe I am wrong..

This is true, yet it does offer all the features known and loved from social bookmarking websites.I just thought this should be an option as some people - like me - use it to share interesting websites with friends.
