Recently I came upon a new style of MMO that I have particularly enjoyed. It involves getting friends, or other players, to join with you in a country, and form a new society. There are elections, as well as armies, and a player based economy. One of them has been around a few years called eRepublik, but another one I just played in closed beta and really enjoyed it called WorldAlpha, which you can find here http://www.worldalpha.com You guys should check them out and let me know what you think.
