Criticisms

First, I need to point out that contrarily to the game description on this page, this is a persistent universe.

I tried this game, and there are a number of issues in my view:

1) It is stated here to be 'Final'.
What it really seem to be is an unfinished beta used as release, while all development has been stopped:
- The version displayed in game is '0.966 beta'.
- The copyright displayed is '© Copyright 2007 Gameforge'.
- Having been on and off in this game for about 8 or 9 months, it seems that the last thing the developers (before I started playing it) did was implementing a war feature which has been highly criticized, while promising improvements and new ships.
Informations from the player moderators (there are no GMs as far as I ever saw) was that nobody can get any answer from Gameforge on that matter.

2) This could be directly related to the apparent release 'as is' from unfinished beta, and absence of further developments:
This game is for most purposes a clone of Dark Orbit (or the other way around).
There are a few differences between both games, where this one is a bit more strategical, but not enough to really differentiate them.
