Hey all,

Just wanted to ask you guys, what do you in the top 5 pbbgs/web games out there are? Not just for game play, just for moving the genre forward, or tech usage.

1) Renaissance Kingdoms (GP)

2) WeeWar (Tech)

3 Torncity (GM)

4) StarKingdoms (GM)

... I don't have a fifth actually...

GP = game play

GM = genre movement.

I apologize for knowing just a few extraordinary international games. But even here in germany there are many interesting titles:

1. Power of Politics (GM): Become politician and fight for votes

2. Jobfight (GM): Earn real money in a marketing agency (coming soon)

3. City-Tycoon (Tech): SimCity with flash engine

4. Weewar & Travianer (Tech): Just cute ;)

5. Travian / TribalWars (GP)

I can't make a list as I am amazingly uneducated in browser games - but I am flattered for Weewar being mentioned by you guys who are clearly in the know!

I've always thought Kingdom of Loathing had an excellent business model and an inspiring amount of content - the only one I've heard of in the lists you guys posted was Travian, but I have a US perspective (webgames are just not as big here for some reason) so I will have to check those out.
