Mail handler

How do you people manage to bypass the hotmail/yahoo junk box? Every mail I send using php mail() ends up in the junk folder. I got a virtual server from strato so I could change smtp settings or something but I have no clue whats wrong. If I send the mails from my localhost using the smtp server of my ISP I dont have any problems :s
